• What is an eSIM?

  An eSIM is a virtual SIM card compatible with most modern smartphones, tablets, and smart devices. Physically, it is a chip inside a smartphone that receives a mobile operator's signal. In practice, it is a slot for virtual SIM cards that you can switch between in your phone settings.

• Why is eSIM better than a physical SIM card from a local mobile operator?

  1. You do not need to spend time at an operator's office to get a physical SIM card. 2. Local operators' support usually uses the local language, so it can be difficult to contact an agent and resolve issues faced by tourists. 3. You do not need to keep changing SIM cards to receive bank notifications or other important SMS messages.

• How long does it take to install an eSIM using a QR code?

  We send the QR code after you purchase an eSIM. You receive it almost immediately after payment. eSIM activation takes up to 5 minutes

• Can I install your eSIM if I already have an eSIM from my home operator?

  Yes. Most smartphones support installing several eSIMs, and you can switch between them.

• Can I install one eSIM on multiple devices?

  An eSIM can be installed on one device only. However, you can share internet from your eSIM.

• When should I install an eSIM if I am going on a trip?

  The most convenient option is to install the eSIM at home one day before departure, using either your home operator's network or Wi-Fi. Otherwise, when you arrive at your destination, you will need to find Wi-Fi, which is not always convenient. Installing an eSIM means downloading the settings using a QR code or manually. Activation will take place on arrival, when the SIM card connects to a local operator.

• When does a data package become active?

  There are two different concepts. The data package becomes active when you arrive in the country, turn on your phone, and it connects to a local operator through the eSIM. Activating the eSIM itself does not affect data packages; it is simply the installation and setup of the eSIM.

• How reliable will my internet connection be?

  We work with local mobile operators that have the broadest coverage. This means your internet connection will be as reliable as the local partner can provide.

• Can I make phone calls using an eSIM?

  EverySIM does not support calls using a phone number, but you can always make free calls over the internet.

• How do I top up my eSIM?

  You can top up your eSIM in the app. Packages are not combined or extended: each package has its own remaining data allowance and validity period. IMPORTANT: Do not top up an eSIM that has been deleted or has not yet been installed. If this happens, contact support to request a refund.

• Can I share internet from my smartphone?

  Yes. You can use your phone as a hotspot to share data. We do not restrict sharing data with other devices. This is especially useful when you want to share data with a laptop or a device that does not support eSIM.

• What happens to unused data when a package expires?

  EverySIM packages have a fixed validity period. When it expires, any remaining data is cancelled.

• Can I use the same eSIM on another trip?

  Yes. You can purchase packages for different countries for the same eSIM. Do not delete the eSIM after your trip; simply turn it off. Before your next trip, you can turn it on again. IMPORTANT: You need a separate eSIM for each phone.
